Mission Statement

Recycle-a-Bike promotes bicycling as a safe, fun, sustainable, and empowering mode of transportation. We provide the greater Providence community access to the skills and resources to maintain, repair, and build bikes in a workspace where all are welcome.

  • We can use some 2x4s (40" lengths) - see our wishlist
  • Recycle-a-Bike is on Myspace and Facebook.
  • Saturday Open Shop is shut down during our moving process. We plan to re-establish it once we get ourselves into our new home on The Steel Yard (roughly spring 2009).
  • Mechanics a Go-Go is closed for the winter. Re-opening in Spring '09. Stay tuned.
